Was glad to see this water issue addressed once again and hopefully something is done to resolve or alleviate the shortage this time around..Hope to see the weir built or the desalination plant implemented so we can then promote our area's growth with high certainty of success... and not the other way around like other cities like to do business n then deal with a massive problem and ask for more government funding... deal with your local government to solve those issues n not hve the federal government take care of your local problems...in this case our federal government has failed to address the issue with Mexico n probably nvr will...

It really does seem like a waste to let the river water just drain into the Gulf.
